The most common method we utilize is hot-dip galvanization, where your item is immersed in molten zinc. This method ensures comprehensive protection; even if the zinc layer gets scratched, it continues to shield the underlying metal, providing a level of protection unmatched by other methods.
The term “galvanizing” has its origins in France, with its earliest documented use dating back to the 17th century in Indian armor. Over the years, the process has evolved significantly.
In addition to hot-dip galvanization, we also offer electro-galvanization, commonly used for automobile bodies to enhance rust protection. This method has proven its effectiveness time and again, making it a reliable option for our clients.
Another technique we provide is mechanical (or dry) galvanizing, performed at room temperature. This method is primarily used for items like fasteners and is suitable for applications where hot-dip galvanization may not be practical.
